Do people need an account to download shared files?
No. Anyone with access to your share link can view or download without creating a WeDoFiles account.
What happens when I update a shared folder?
The same share link shows the folder's current contents. Add, remove, or replace files without sending a new link.
What happens when I fill my storage?
Uploads stop. Everything else keeps working, and no file is ever deleted to make room — not by us, not automatically.
What happens if I exceed my monthly transfer?
Links from paid accounts keep working. Additional transfer is billed at $5/TB on your next invoice rather than being unexpectedly disabled.
Why is free signup limited?
Free accounts are paid for by paid accounts, so we hold a fixed ratio. When the slots are full you join a waitlist and get an invite as they open.
What counts as bandwidth?
Bytes served from your public links, plus your own downloads. Uploads are free. Making a file private stops it serving immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in one click with no retention offers. Your plan stays active through the paid period, then your account moves to Free with clear notice of the applicable limits.
