Refund Policy
1. Scope and contact
This Refund Policy applies to purchases for WeDoFiles, operated by Noh Daejun, an individual operating the WeDoFiles service. It is version 2026-08-31 and takes effect on August 31, 2026. Current prices and billing terms are on the Pricing page and in checkout; they are not repeated here.
Start a request by emailing [email protected], the address published on the Contact page. Include the account email, transaction or invoice reference, reason, and relevant evidence. WeDoFiles targets an initial response within 3-4 business days. That target is not the provider's posting time and does not limit mandatory legal rights.
2. Eligible requests
WeDoFiles reviews requests involving:
- An unauthorized transaction.
- A duplicate or incorrect charge.
- A billing or metering error.
- Material non-delivery of the purchased service.
- Another remedy required by applicable law.
Report a suspected bandwidth-overage error before the next billing date so the underlying period can be investigated. Missing that operational deadline does not remove a mandatory legal right.
A change of mind, forgotten cancellation, unused time, or failure to use available service ordinarily does not qualify unless applicable law requires otherwise or WeDoFiles grants goodwill relief. Fraud, abuse, chargeback, or policy enforcement may be considered, but cannot remove non-waivable rights.
3. Refund amount
Ordinary voluntary refunds are full-only for the approved transaction; WeDoFiles does not issue discretionary partial refunds. Legally required partial or pro-rata adjustments use a separate mandatory-remedy path. A refund cannot exceed the amount actually paid and cannot be duplicated through a refund, chargeback, credit, or other remedy.
4. Review and decision
WeDoFiles records the transaction, amount, reason, evidence, requester, reviewer, decision, and provider result. A request may be requested, under review, approved, denied, submitted, succeeded, failed, appealed, or closed. Provider callbacks and retries are processed idempotently.
If a refund is approved, WeDoFiles immediately converts the account to Free, submits the refund through Dodo, and cancels renewal. The downgrade and file-retention rules in the Terms of Service then apply. WeDoFiles retries transient provider failures and alerts an administrator if refund and cancellation outcomes diverge.
Dodo or the payment network may take additional time to post funds after WeDoFiles decides and submits the request. When available, WeDoFiles sends the provider receipt or status. Refunds are submitted to Dodo Payments Inc, 8 The Green, STE A, Dover, County of Kent, Delaware 19901, United States, which acts as merchant of record for the purchase. The mandatory-refund escalation process is described in Section 8 below.
5. Appeals
You may appeal a denial within 14 calendar days of the decision by replying with the reason and any new evidence. A different administrator reviews the appeal where practical. The appeal response distinguishes WeDoFiles' decision time from provider processing time. The 14-day internal appeal period does not shorten any longer period or other remedy available under applicable law.
6. Outage account credits
On request, an outage qualifies for account credit when downloads were inaccessible continuously and platform-wide for more than 24 hours and no prior maintenance notice covered the outage.
The credit equals the daily prorated recurring plan and add-on fee for each complete 24-hour block of the qualifying outage. It is capped at the affected billing period's recurring fees. The ordinary remedy is account credit, not cash, unless mandatory law requires another remedy. Overage charges and taxes are adjusted only when the facts or applicable law require it.
7. Cancellation and chargebacks
Cancellation alone does not create a refund. A scheduled cancellation leaves paid access in place through the current period, then converts the account to Free. A scheduled cancellation cannot be reversed; a user may purchase a new subscription.
Contact [email protected] before opening a chargeback so WeDoFiles can investigate. When a chargeback opens, the account converts to Free. Paid access is restored only if the provider reports that WeDoFiles won the dispute. This does not restrict a lawful payment dispute or mandatory consumer remedy.
8. Mandatory refund escalation
If applicable law gives you a mandatory right to a refund, cancellation, price reduction, withdrawal, or other monetary remedy, that right applies regardless of any narrower eligibility rule, deadline, or limitation in this Policy.
Start the request by contacting [email protected] with the information described in Section 1. WeDoFiles will review the request and take any action required within the period required by applicable law.
If a refund is required, WeDoFiles will submit or request the refund through Dodo Payments, the merchant of record for the purchase. Dodo Payments and the applicable payment network or financial institution may require additional processing time before funds appear on the original payment method.
If WeDoFiles determines that a refund is legally required but the refund cannot be successfully processed through Dodo Payments, WeDoFiles will continue reasonable efforts to resolve the processing issue. You may also contact Dodo Payments using the contact information provided with your transaction or through its buyer-support channels regarding the payment transaction.
Nothing in this Policy requires you to complete WeDoFiles's internal review or appeal process before exercising a right that applicable law allows you to exercise directly. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable right to contact a payment provider, card issuer, consumer-protection authority, regulator, court, or other competent body.
